I had originally booked a sunset kayak tour but due to the weather conditions it got rescheduled to a during the day kayak after the orginial date. David had e-mailed me about it and asked me if the rescheduled date was okay which it was. The launch location was Bouley Bay. Before we went into the water David gave a long instruction about how to use the paddle during the kayaking which I thought to be a bit too long as I think it is something you learn by doing. But I suppose that’s his way of making sure he prepared everyone well. The kayaking itself was fun and David was knowledgeable about the various sea birds and jellyfish. I’d felt in safe hands as David seemed to have a lot of experience I’d definitely recommend Kayak Nomad :)Verified Great kayak trip Great coastal tour with David this afternoon. Beautiful scenery. We were given a choice of location but were pleased that were chose Bouley Bay. The scenery was beautiful and the sea crystal clear. David gave us initial instruction and safety gear. Our bags were stored safely in the Nomad Kayaking van. We felt safe on our adventure which was our first ever kayaking experience. David took photos throughout the session which he shared later. We booked a sea kayak trip along the north coast of Jersey, starting from Bonne Nuit Bay, and it was excellent from start to finish. Booking was easy and David, our guide, replied quickly to every message. The route is long enough to really take in the scenery, and at lunchtime we stopped for a picnic on a beach you can't reach on foot — a real highlight. David is full of local detail and history, which made the paddle genuinely interesting rather than just a nice trip out.
