Kayak Nomad – Returns & Refund Policy

1. Your Right to Cancel (UK & EU Distance Sales)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

  • The cancellation period starts the day after you receive your item.
  • You must notify us in writing (email is acceptable) within this 14-day period.
  • You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

2. Condition of Returned Goods

Returned items must:

  • Be unused and in original condition
  • Include all original packaging
  • Be securely packaged for return transit

You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop, but you are responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the item is faulty or incorrect:

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.

We recommend using a tracked and insured service for returning paddles due to their size and value.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item:

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days
  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method
  • We may withhold refund until goods are received or proof of return is provided

5. Faulty or Damaged Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

  • As described
  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for purpose

If your item is faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 30 days
  • We will arrange repair, replacement, or refund
  • Return postage will be covered where applicable

6. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Custom-built or special-order paddles
  • Items damaged through misuse
  • Products modified after purchase
