However, there is always the risk that you may encounter feelings of discomfort, fear, apprehension, or even accidental injury or trauma We expect clients to help maintain their own and other’s safety by following the instructions given by staff. All our activities are undertaken at your own risk.
Health
You need to tell us if you or any members of your party have health or medical matters that could limit your paddling ability or put your safety at risk on the water. These include but are not limited to, Asthma, Hay fever, Allergies, Diabetes, Heart issues, Epilepsy, Behavioral issues etc. If in doubt, please tell us in advance.
Weather
Kayaking is an outdoor water sport. Therefore rainy weather doesn’t stop us. If rain or unfavorable weather stops you, please do not book. We endeavor to select the best locations for the paddle based on the winds, tides, currents.
Late arrivals
Please be punctual. Session start times are sharp and it is unfair to keep others waiting and if you are late, you will be treated as a no-show. If in doubt, aim to be early. The tide will not wait. Payments will not be refunded. Remember to allow time to find the launch venue, getting stuck behind tractors, cow jams (it happens!) finding a parking place etc.
Photographs
I often take photographs during our paddles. All photographs will be made available to you for free via our social media pages and/or via file transfer upon request. From time to time photographs taken may appear in our brochures, promotional material, media articles, etc. in relation to the promotion of our services. You can choose to opt-out. Just make us aware at the time of booking.
Bad Behavior
Bad behavior that disrupts the smooth running of an trip/tour or journey, may result in the disruptive customer(s) being excluded and removed. No refund will be given. This includes but not limited to violence towards anyone in the group, bullying or discriminatory behavior regarding difference in political or religious views, ethnic, sexual orientation, disability. Generally, if you can’t be nice, be quiet.
Drugs and Alcohol
The simple answer is they do not mix with paddling and water sports. If you turn up badly hungover or still drunk or under the influence of drugs.
